New REVEREND Singer Describes Experience Of Playing DAVID WAYNE's Hometown

September 15, 2006

REVEREND's new frontman Michael Lance (ex-ANCIENT CROSS) recently completed a detailed outline of the band's experience playing in late REVEREND/METAL CHURCH singer David Wayne's hometown of Zillah, Washington. In the short essay, Michael refers to the trip as returning to REVEREND's roots.

"When I met David Wayne's daughter and his brother, we talked awhile and the other members of REVEREND shared their most recent stories of David Wayne," he writes. "We offered our condolences once again in person to the family and I briefly felt sad as stories were told about David."

A full account of Michael Lance's experience can be found at www.reverend.cx, as well as updated photos from REVEREND's recent Dallas and San Antonio shows.

Wayne died on May 10, 2005 due to complications from injuries he sustained in a head-on automobile accident several months earlier. He was 47 years old.
