New Zealand's TAINTED To Support METALLICA In Christchurch

September 2, 2010

According to Stuff.co.nz, Christchurch, New Zealand-based metal group TAINTED has been selected to support METALLICA when the heavy metal giants headline two Christchurch shows on September 21 and September 22.

Commented TAINTED guitarist Tim Facoory: ''I've only just found out that it's happening for real a few minutes ago. I haven't even told the rest of the band yet. I'm going to sit them down soon and give them the good news.''

He added, "It means so much to us. METALLICA are just gigantic legends and to think that we're going to be on the same stage as them is just unbelievable. All of the band are fans and their music has had a huge influence on us."

Also supporting METALLICA in Christchurch are FEAR FACTORY and THE SWORD.

TAINTED's "Carved and Create" album came out last year.
