NOCTURNAL RITES Preparing To Record New Album

September 6, 2011

Swedish power metallers NOCTURNAL RITES are currently rehearsing new songs and are preparing to start recording them in a few weeks or so. In the meantime, the band has released "a little trailer to let [the fans] know [the group is] still alive!" Check out the clip below.

NOCTURNAL RITES previously stated about the material that has been completed for the follow-up to 2007's "The 8th Sin", "We have some really dark and aggressive stuff written as well as some more melodic, so this new album will definitely cater to all aspects of the NOCTURNAL RITES legacy! [It sounds] a little [like we're going] back to the darker 'Afterlife' [2000] days mixed with some trademark NOCTURNAL RITES catchy melodies those that can never go wrong!"
