NORMA JEAN: Recording New Album With ROSS ROBINSON

April 13, 2006

NORMA JEAN are currently at Radio Star Studios in Weed, CA with producer Ross Robinson (SLIPKNOT, GLASSJAW, AT THE DRIVE-IN, FROM FIRST TO LAST, THE CURE) recording their new album. After the success of NORMA JEAN's last CD, released just last year, "O God the Aftermath" (which sold more than 90,000 units),the band are now working on their next full-length effort for Solid State. NORMA JEAN started recording their new album on April 7 and hope to wrap it up by the end of May. After a short rest, the group will get ready for their appearances on this year's Ozzfest.

Commented vocalist Cory Brandan: "We are thrilled to an insane degree about this year. We really think [Ross Robinson] will be able to bring something out in us and our music. Also we're doing Ozzfest. I think it's one of the best things you can do as a heavy band. It will do enormous things for us and our music, plus we get total bragging rights. Once we've done this tour, we'll always be able to say, 'Yeah, we did Ozzfest,' and you better believe we will, every freaking chance we get."
