NORMA JEAN's 'The Anti Mother' Cracks U.S. Top 30
August 13, 2008NORMA JEAN's fourth album "The Anti Mother", sold more than 16,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 29 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Featuring separate collaborations with Page Hamilton of HELMET and Chino Moreno of DEFTONES, "The Anti Mother" marks NORMA JEAN's most melodic, heaviest and furious material to date. "We've never been this excited about anything we've done," says vocalist/guitarist Cory Brandan.
The Atlanta-based group re-teamed with producer Ross Robinson (SLIPKNOT, THE CURE, DEFTONES) and engineer Ryan Boesch to record "The Anti Mother". The resulting crushing and sonically adventurous 10-song offering easily achieves the artistic and creative high point of NORMA JEAN's career.
NORMA JEAN is currently debuting songs from "The Anti Mother" live to fans all summer long as main-stage headliners on the Vans Warped Tour.
