OCEANS OF SADNESS: New Song Posted Online
June 8, 2008Belgian progressive metallers OCEANS OF SADNESS have posted a new song from their forthcoming fifth album, "The Arrogance of Ignorance", on their MySpace page. According to the band, "The song is called 'Some Things Seem So Easy' and it is a shining example of the diversity of OCEANS OF SADNESS. It grows from an almost 'country-like' feeling over to back-breaking heaviness and Ozzy-influenced vocals to end in an ocean of acid-drenched structures and melodies.
"The Arrogance of Ignorance" was produced by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street in rebro, Sweden and contains 10 tracks. The CD includes guest appearances by Annlouice Loegdlund (DIABLO SWING ORCHESTRA) on the song 'Subconscious' and Johan Liiva (formerly of ARCH ENEMY, HEARSE) on the track "In The End". Artwork was created by the Greek artist Seth Siro Anton.
