One Man's Quest To Honor OZZY OSBOURNE And BLACK SABBATH

November 2, 2005

A British BLACK SABBATH fan by the name of Garry Raybould has been running a campaign to honor the four original members of SABBATH for quite some time now. He has collected thousands of signatures on a hand-written petiton to create a "Walk of Fame" in the heart of downtown Birmingham, England, which will honor "famous Brummies," starting off with Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward. Garry has spread the word through his soccer team, naming it "The Ozzy Powered Football Club", and their uniforms sport the words "Free Ozzy" on them. A web-based petition has now been set up online for you to sign. Please take a moment, and contribute your signature by clicking here.

Recently, Garry met with the lord mayor of Birmingham (pictured here) about his idea, and the lord mayor loved it. It is now moving foward to the planning department.

You can read more about Garry on his web site.
