ONSLAUGHT To Return To Greece In May

February 24, 2009

British thrashers ONSLAUGHT will return to Greece on May 29 to play a show at the On Stage club in Athens. Guitarist Nige Rockett says, "This one we really cannot wait for, our last visit to Greece two years back with NAPALM DEATH was totally fucking insane, so we're looking forward to much more of the same... Real old-school thrash crowds, with huge amounts of stage diving/circle pits and lots of blood... haha....Bring it on. And awesome food too."

Fan-filmed video footage of ONSLAUGHT performing the song "Let There Be Death" at last year's Damnation Festival, which was held November 22, 2008 in Leeds, U.K., can be viewed below (clip uploaded by Dave Ingham a.k.a. YouTube user "triptykon"). The group's entire concert was recorded for a live album, to be released through Candlelight Records.

ONSLAUGHT's latest album, "Killing Peace", was released in March 2007 via Candlelight Records. The CD was recorded at Backstage studio in Derbyshire, England with producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, MACHINE HEAD, ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE).
