OPETH, SOILWORK Confirmed For Portugal's LAGOA BURNING LIVE FESTIVAL

According to the Portuguese webzine Rock Heavy Loud, OPETH and SOILWORK have been confirmed for the second edition of the Lagoa Burning Live Festival, set to take place July 25-27 in Lagoa, Algarve, Portugal.

The festival billing is shaping up as follows (in alphabetical order):

A total of 40 bands are currently confirmed for the event, which will include performances by a number of local acts.

The first edition of the Lagoa Burning Live Festival took place in September 2007 and featured such bands as ADAGIO, PRIMAL FEAR, DESTRUCTION and SILENT FORCE. The festival's return this year represents a threefold growth in the festival's goal to become Portugal's foremost heavy metal event and one of the largest and most varied in the Iberian Peninsula.

Tickets will go on sale in March, with more bands to be announced during the coming days.
