June 29, 2010

Reality Check TV conducted an interview with original PHANTOM BLUE singer Gigi Hangach at the AVN Awards, which was held in January 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Watch the chat below.

Hangach and original PHANTOM BLUE drummer Linda McDonald took part in the May 2009 Michelle Meldrum memorial show at the Whisky A-Go Go in Hollywood, California. The concert was held in memory of late MELDRUM/PHANTOM BLUE guitarist Michelle Meldrum and helped raise funds for Michelle's family and five-year-old son Jake Norum.

On May 18, 2008 Michelle Meldrum was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank in critical condition. She passed away late afternoon Wednesday, May 21, 2008 as a result of a cystic growth that had restricted oxygen and blood flow to her brain rendering her brain dead.

PHANTOM BLUE released its self-titled debut album on Shrapnel Records as well as Roadrunner Records, and eventually landed a deal with major label Geffen.
