Original TED NUGENT Band Reunites For Night Of Musical Madness
March 2, 2006According to Classic Rock Revisited, the classic TED NUGENT lineup found on the albums "Ted Nugent", "Free For All", "Cat Scratch Fever" and "Double Live Gonzo" reunited sans The Nuge for a night of musical madness. The band featured Derek St. Holmes on vocals and guitar, Rob Grange on bass and Cliff Davies on drums.
Grange reported to Classic Rock Revisited: "Cliff, Derek and I got together in December in Fresno for a project that Derek was working on. We had hoped that Ted would join us, but he was committed on a hunting project. After a short rehearsal, we all played like it was 1975 all over again, we just have this natural 'chemistry' together. The last time we played together was at the Cal Jam in 1978. We played 'Hey Baby', 'Stranglehold', 'Live it Up' and various others while jamming. These guys are like brothers to me and it was surreal to see them again, after all of these years. We then did a small concert in Fresno and Derek's band joined the live show. We missed Ted and all hoped he'll surface out of the bush, so the four of us can get together for some jammin'."
