May 23, 2006

Salzburg, Austria-based doom/sludge metal band OUR SURVIVAL DEPENDS ON US — now featuring in its ranks Barth (ex-BELPHEGOR) on bass — have chosen to fully provide their album "Jumping Once Too Often Into The Ocean That Had Always Been Our Inspiration" for free download on their web site. The LP was released in April 2005 as a vinyl-only release (white vinyl, 500 hand-numbered pieces) via Austria's Mju.org Records. Because of the increasing demand for a digital release, the complete album is now also available in MP3 format (192 kBps / 44.1 kHz) for free from www.osdou.com.

"Jumping Once Too Often Into The Ocean That Had Always Been Our Inspiration" (view LP cover here) track listing:

01. Enter the Eye of the Cyclone
02. Washing Hands in Innocence
03. A Stream that Won't Run Dry
04. The Element Beholder
05. Breathe
06. Ocean of Inspiration

OUR SURVIVAL DEPENDS ON US's style is being described as "a self-contained mixture of bands like NEUROSIS, BREACH, 16 HORSEPOWER and THE MELVINS."
