OZZY OSBOURNE Honored With 'Legend' Award At MTV VMA JAPAN

Ozzy Osbourne was honored with the "Legend Award" at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2004 on Sunday (May 23),according to The Daily Yomiuri. Introduced as "the Prince of Darkness" by playful British retro rockers THE DARKNESS, Ozzy Osbourne turned up on stage at Tokyo Bay NK Hall with wife Sharon, daughter Kelly and son Jack.

"This is the best award of them all because it's real — all the other ones are plastic," said a light-hearted Osbourne, appreciating the renewed focus on his music rather than the TV show featuring his family. "It's really weird, people know me now from the show, but they don't know I've been doing rock 'n' roll for 35 years."
