OZZY Talks About 'Osbournes: Reloaded'; Subtitles Available
March 26, 2009A short interview with Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne about their return to television with the premiere next Tuesday (March 31) on Fox of "Osbournes: Reloaded" — a new comedy series starring the couple and their children Jack and Kelly — can be viewed below.
In a recent interview with Starpulse.com, Ozzy described the flavor of the show by saying, "We're trying to get a good across the table thing and not having the same thing every week. There will be some things that you will see every week but there's a lot of things you won't as well."
The show will include a variety of skits and pranks, including one sketch where Ozzy serves customers at the drive-through window of a fast food restaurant. But Ozzy confessed he was less than enamored with the segment, saying, "Not to my liking, to be honest with you. I didn't get involved in the entertainment business to do fast food restaurants. These people really work . . . I come from a working class background. I've never forgotten that. I've done my share of destroying hotel rooms and all of that stuff. It makes me realize they're still out there and they're still doing them jobs."
Other segments feature a young blindfolded man duped into kissing a grandmother, a visit from actress Pamela Anderson, and the Osbournes traveling around the country to find other Osbourne clans.
The program will also include musical performances.
Six episodes of the series have been shot, with the network waiting to see how they do before ordering more.
Ozzy is also working on a new studio album to follow up 2007's "Black Rain".
