PARADOX: Lineup Shuffles Galore

December 9, 2002

Veteran German power metallers PARADOX have rejoined forces with guitarist Kai Pasemann and have now parted ways with bassist Oliver Holzwarth (SIEGES EVEN) and drummer Alex Holzwarth (RHAPSODY, ANGRA, SIEGES EVEN, AVANTASIA). According to the group's official web site, "the process which led to this decision has taken many months, as you know, but now we are definitely back to rock! We will try not to comment on the matter and there is no need to — we'd rather look into the future and proudly present the good news:

"Stefan Schwarzmann will play drums for PARADOX! You might know him as drummer of the berlin-based band SKEW SISKIN or as former drummer of U.D.O., ACCEPT and RUNNING WILD. One of his first bands was the speed-metal band CRONOS TITAN, in which Kai also played.

"We have also asked a former member of PARADOX to play bass on the upcoming album and to join the band. Armin Donderer has played with the band for some time in the early eighties until he left Germany to study bass in Los Angeles. Armin is ready to rock, so we have the main problems solved...

"We will soon be able to pronounce more facts concerning the singer, so please visit us again in one or two weeks..."
