PAUL STANLEY Guitarist RAFAEL MOREIRA Featured In New Issue Of KISS KOLLECTOR

February 16, 2007

The new issue of Kiss Kollector magazine (web site),which will be out right after the weekend, includes an interview with Rafael Moreira, the lead guitarist in Paul Stanley's solo band. The Brazilian musician — who has played/toured with the likes of PINK (during a co-headlining tour with KISS fan LENNY KRAVITZ) and CHRISTINA AGUILERA — informed Kiss Kollector that KISS was one of the reasons why he started playing guitar in the first place. When asked how Paul Stanley got the "Rock Star" house band to tour as his band, Rafael replied, "It happens just like that he saw us playing on the TV show and his manager contacted us. Next thing you know we're on the road with Paul Stanley!"

Check out the entire interview with Rafael, who has his own CD out ("Acid Guitar"),in issue 58 of Kiss Kollector magazine. Issue 59 of the magazine will include an interview with Paul's other guitarist, Jim McGorman. He'll be talking about the U.S. leg of Paul's solo tour since Jim won't be able to join Paul and the band on the Australian leg of the tour because he's got a commitment to Avril Lavigne's upcoming tour.
