PEARL JAM Guitarist Set For Benefit At THUNDERBIRDS Game

February 12, 2004

PEARL JAM guitarist Mike McCready will play the national anthem and drop the ceremonial first puck at the Seattle Thunderbirds' March 6 Western Hockey League game at KeyArena for a night benefiting the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

A portion of the proceeds for each ticket purchased by March 5 and designated as a part of the "friends, family or members of the CCFA group" will be donated to the CCFA, an organization McCready called "a lifesaver for me and for thousands of young people suffering from Crohn's and colitis around the country."
