12 People Arrested During Saturday's OZZFEST

Janesville Gazette reports that authorities arrested 12 people on state charges at Saturday's (July 22) Ozzfest, an all-day heavy-metal music festival at Alpine Valley Music Theater in East Troy, Wisconsin.

Five people were charged with disorderly conduct, two with battery and two for trespassing. Individuals were also charged with possession of cocaine, bail jumping and having an outstanding warrant.

Patrol deputies issued 59 tickets, 19 for possession of marijuana and 13 for underage possession of alcohol. Fifteen speeding tickets were also handed out. Various other tickets were for disorderly conduct, trespassing, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating after revocation and other traffic offenses.

The Walworth County Drug Unit seized 193 grams of marijuana and about two grams of cocaine. Drug Unit officers cited 66 for possession of marijuana, 13 for possession of drug paraphernalia and three for disorderly conduct.
