PINK CREAM 69 Frontman Finishes Recording Solo Album

August 14, 2006

PINK CREAM 69/ex-ADAGIO frontman David Readman has posted the following message on his official web site:

"I finally finished recording all the overdubs of my solo CD. Even though there are lots of collaborators on this one, I was still left with a few things to do. Lucky for me I can still bend my fingers into a few chords. [Laughs] The final vocal overdubs were also done last week and I handed over everything to Dennis [Ward, producer and PINK CREAM 69 bandmate] two days ago. So its time for the mix and believe me I'm ready for that!

"I finally contacted a good friend of mine Marco Muller, and told him its time to get some shots taken for the CD, so last week we did a cool shooting here in Germany, and let me tell you, he knows what he is doing!

"Yes, I thought you would ask what about PINK CREAM 69. Well, we're all busy getting the final tracks sounding at there best, and getting ready for our show at the Rock Shop!"

Songtitles set to appear on Readman's solo CD include "Evil Combination", "New Messiah" and "Over the Ocean". David previously described the album as "basically melodic rock... with influences of my past projects, and of course not so far away from PINK CREAM 69." A release date for the effort has not yet been announced.
