PRIMAL FEAR Confirmed For Spain's ALTERNA VIGO Festival

German power metallers PRIMAL FEAR have been confirmed for the Alterna Vigo festival, set to take place August 8-9, 2008 in Vigo, Spain. So scheduled to appear are OVERKILL, GAMMA RAY, EXODUS, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, CYNIC and RATOS DE PORO.

PRIMAL FEAR has set "16.6" as the working title of the follow-up to last year's "New Religion" album. The CD will be recorded in November/December 2008 for a tentative early 2009 release via Frontiers Records.

"New Religion" last year landed on the Swedish chart at No. 67. It also entered the German chart at No. 60.

The CD was released in the U.S. on January 29 via Locomotive/Ryko. Guest musicians on the album include Kai Hansen (GAMMA RAY, ex-HELLOWEEN) and Simone Simons (EPICA).
