PRIMAL FEAR Dedicates 'Fighting The Darkness' To DIO At New York City Concert

"Just got back from the North American tour kick-off of PRIMAL FEAR at New York City's Gramercy Theater. The band was joined by the amazing vocalist Pamela Moore [who is best known for her performance as Sister Mary on QUEENSRŸCHE's 1988 epic release 'Operation: Mindcrime' and 2006's sequel 'Operation: Mindcrime II'] on the tracks 'Seven Seals' and 'Fighting the Darkness'.

"Prior to 'Fighting the Darkness', vocalist Ralf Scheepers dedicated the song to the late Ronnie James Dio which generated a huge audience response. Following the tune, Ralf encouraged the audience to chant Dio's name, which everyone did. Also HALFORD/PAINMUSEUM/ex-SEBASTIAN BACH guitarist 'Metal' Mike Chlasciak came out and joined PRIMAL FEAR during their encore for a blazing rendition of the JUDAS PRIEST classic 'Metal Gods'. The Queen of Heavy Metal Doro Pesch was also in attendance tonight, just enjoying the show and meeting with fans who spotted her hanging out. She took time to speak with each of these fans and was extremely nice to all, a true class act. Support on this show came from New York power metallers DESDEMON and Denver, Colorado thrashers HAVOK."
