PSYOPUS: Performance Footage Of Two New Songs Available

Metal Injection has posted video footage (see below) of PSYOPUS' performance at a CMJ showcase last week. Included is footage of two brand new songs from the Rochester, New York-based tech grindcore/hardcore outfit's forthcoming album as well as a reunion of sorts with founding member Greg Herman hopped on the drums for a very brutal rendition of the PSYOPUS classic "Bonus To Dust".

PSYOPUS recently announced the addition of singer Brian Woodruff (AS THIS BODY, I EXIST) to the group's ranks.

The band's new album was recorded between July 20 and August 16 with engineer Doug White at Watchmen Studios in Lockport, New York.

PSYOPUS's most recent CD, "Our Puzzling Encounters Considered", was released in February 2007 via Metal Blade Records.
