PYREXIA Announce New Drummer

July 7, 2003

Reunited Long Island, New York-based death metallers PYREXIA, who recently signed an exclusive distribution deal with Crash Music, have added drummer Justin Dipinto to the group's lineup. "Justin is best known for his recent work behind the kit on MALEVOLENT CREATION's 'The Will To Kill' [album] and is a welcome addition to the group, solidifying the line-up and adding to the intensity and anticipation of the next PYREXIA release," reads a statement on the band's official web site. The group's next release will be an album titled "Deliverance", containing eight of the band's favorite songs from their back catalog plus three brand-new cuts to tide the fans over until the next full-length studio album is issued. Look for "Deliverance" in late October via a partnership between Rex Records (PYREXIA's label) and Deepsend Records.

In other news, PYREXIA's previously announced tour with MORTAL DECAY and INTERNAL BLEEDING has been scaled back and will no longer include the latter group. INTERNAL BLEEDING are still seeking a new full-time bassist and are currently accepting applications at [email protected].
