QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE And EAGLES OF DEATH METAL Announce Los Angeles Benefit Gig

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE and EAGLES OF DEATH METAL have confirmed a benefit appearance in Los Angeles, California for Thursday, August 12. The show, to be held at Club Nokia, is being held to raise funds for EAGLES OF DEATH METAL bassist Brian O'Connor who was recently diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing treatment in Los Angeles. Net proceeds from the show will be contributed to a fund which has been established in conjunction with Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, to assist with Brian's medical aid and vital living expenses.

Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, July 16 at 10 a.m. PST.

The Los Angeles gig will be the second Josh Homme-organized benefit for O'Connor.

Homme's THEM CROOKED VULTURES played a show for O'Connor on Monday, July 5 at London, England's O2 Academy.
