QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE's Great Re-Introduction
March 8, 2005Launch Radio Networks reports: QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE's new album, "Lullabies To Paralyze", isn't out until March 22, but fans have been getting a taste of it on the first single, "Little Sister". Frontman Josh Homme said the group chose the song to send a message about what QUEENS was up to these days. "Because people hadn't heard us for a while and we've been missing and the only thing that's been out there is kind of rumor and innuendo, I think this is a great re-introduction, because I think it sounds like us doing a short, succinct rock song," he said. "You're hearing all these bands do their rock stuff, and then I think you hear us go, 'OK, we'll do rock stuff, too.'"
"Lullabies To Paralyze" is QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE's follow-up to 2002's "Songs For The Deaf".
QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE begin a North American tour on March 15 in Austin, Texas.
