RAM: New Song Available For Download

October 28, 2005

RAM, the traditional Gothenburg, Sweden-based heavy metal band featuring Leif Larsson (ex-FROZEN EYES, NME WITHIN) and Morgan Pettersson (ex-B-THONG),have uploaded the song "Shadowman" from their full-length debut, "Forced Entry", at this location.

"Forced Entry" is scheduled for release on November 25. The first 1,000 copies will be released through Black Path Metal Recordings. A release party, featuring a live performance by RAM, will be held at Sticky Fingers (top floor) in Gothenburg on November 24. All ticket sales will be handled by the band via [email protected].

"Forced Entry" was recorded at Black Path studios and was mixed at Gothenburg's Brewhouse facility. Mastering duties were handled by Göran Finnberg. Check out the cover artwork at this location.

According to a press release "Forced Entry" will show "a new dimension of RAM's music, since it is faster, heavier, harder, more melodic, more progressive and simpler all at the same time" than the group's 2003 "Sudden Impact" EP. "Where the EP was 'uncompromising heavy metal,' the new album displays a more personal sound," the press release states. "The production is a perfect blend between the classic early Eighties European heavy metal sound and a more contemporary 'high-tech' metal sound, still the production captures the band's natural sound and is far from overproduced."
