RANDY CASTILLO Benefit Concert To Be Held In Cleveland

September 24, 2005

Drummer Tommy Amato will join Cleveland rock bands for a very special concert to offer their support to the family of fellow musician Randy Castillo, who passed away from cancer. Randy played drums for OZZY OSBOURNE, MÖTLEY CRÜE and LITA FORD. Tommy Amato will reunite with his former bandmates for a special evening of live classic rock and roll on Sunday October 2, at The Agora.

Some of the bands on the bill will be legendary Cleveland-based rock bands such as SOUVENIR, LOVERS LANE, ANDY GEROME, STAR FLEET and BEAU COUP. Headlining will be Tommy Amato, joined by many surprise guest drummers for an unforgettable "drummers' jam" set, not to be missed. The concert will be an all-day music marathon beginning at 6:00 p.m. and will feature original music as well as classic rock favorites like GENESIS, YES, PINK FLOYD, LED ZEPPELIN and more. Local and national merchants, as well as many celebrities in the music, film, television, entertainment and sport industries are pulling together to donate some very cool, one-of-a-kind and rare merchandise, which will be on display for silent auction. All bidding and items will be awarded by 10:00 p.m. when the auction closes. Raffles, door prizes and giveaways will also be part of the fundraising fun.

Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at The Agora box office (216-881-6911) or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Charge tickets by phone 216-241-5555 in Cleveland or 330-945-9400 in Akron. All 2005 Tickets, Auction and raffle proceeds benefit the Tommy Amato Cancer Fund.
