Reactivated GHOULTOWN To Release New CD

September 24, 2005

GHOULTOWN, the Dallas, Texas-based "hellbilly" band fronted by former SOLITUDE AETURNUS bassist Lyle Steadham (a.k.a. Count Lyle),have issued the following update:

"Those of you that have been following GHOULTOWN over the last few years know that the band went underground in August of 2004, playing a 'farewell show' at the annual Dragon*Con convention. Since then, the members have been performing in a side-project called MALTORO. Over the last year however, although GHOULTOWN did not play live, Count Lyle and the boys worked on material for both bands, while Lyle also completed a GHOULTOWN novel manuscript which is currently being shopped to publishers.

"While recording songs for the intended MALTORO album, the band also recorded additional GHOULTOWN material for a future release. It is now that we are proud to announce that a new GHOULTOWN CD is planned for release later this year or early 2006! Yep, you heard that right, hombre! The NEW GHOULTOWN release, entitled 'Bury Them Deep', will contain seven killer new songs branded with the band's unique tequila-drenched hellfire! Cover art has already been completed by the amazing Dan Brereton who has done artwork for ROB ZOMBIE, SCUM OF THE EARTH, etc, and trust us, this is the flat-out ultimate GHOULTOWN cover!

"We'll be providing more specific details regarding 'Bury Them Deep' in the near future, but for now we wanted to pass the word along to all of you Banditos that may not have been following the news on the website. Lyle has also completed a few press interviews that should be posted soon, which will provide more insight into what's been going on with GHOULTOWN, MALTORO and all the other projects. Stay tuned!"
