Reunited MANINNYA BLADE Working On New Material

Acclaimed Swedish metallers MANINNYA BLADE have reformed and are working on new material for release later in the year. The group's current lineup is as follows:

Nicke Johansson - Guitars
Leif Eriksson - Vocals
Jerry Rutstrom - Guitars
Jan Lindberg - Bass
Andreas Lindmark – Drums

MANINNYA BLADE is considered to be one of the first thrash metal bands from Sweden. A single, "Barbarian/Ripper Attack", and a full-length album, "Merchants In Metal", were released before the band split up. A compilation album, "Undead, Unborn, Alive", came out in 2006, featuring live recordings from a 2002 reunion gig and various demo recordings.
