RHINO Signs With ARCTIC MUSIC GROUP

Thrash doom titans RHINO have inked a record deal with Arctic Music Group. The label will release the group's debut, "Breed The Chosen One" (previously issued in Spain in early 2007 through 7th Gate Records/Odio Sonoro) in the first months of 2008.

Formed in December of 2004 by Javier Gálvez (guitars and vocals; BURIAL, FROM THE CROSS, LEFT HAND RIDERS) and Julen Gil (drums; SUBLIMINAL, POSITIVA),the band released a demo, "Name the Horn Bearer", in January 2006, featuring Miguel Moral on bass. In early 2007 — after a year of hard work performing alongside such bands as MOHO, SHISHA PANGMA, BORT, MOKSHA and WARCHETYPE — Sergio Robles replaced Moral and the group released "Breed The Chosen One".

RHINO is currently in pre-production for its second album, tentatively due in the second half of 2008 through Arctic Music Group worldwide.

According to a press release, RHINO delivers "a mix of thrash, doom and rock influenced by bands like BOLT THROWER, MOHO, AUTOPSY, MOTÖRHEAD, DARK ANGEL, UNSANE, FLOODGATE, BLACK SABBATH, etc."
