RHINO Signs With ARCTIC MUSIC GROUP

Thrash doom titans RHINO have inked a record deal with Arctic Music Group. The label will release the group's debut, "Breed The Chosen One" (previously issued in Spain in early 2007 through 7th Gate Records/Odio Sonoro) in the first months of 2008.

Formed in December of 2004 by Javier Gálvez (guitars and vocals; BURIAL, FROM THE CROSS, LEFT HAND RIDERS) and Julen Gil (drums; SUBLIMINAL, POSITIVA),the band released a demo, "Name the Horn Bearer", in January 2006, featuring Miguel Moral on bass. In early 2007 — after a year of hard work performing alongside such bands as MOHO, SHISHA PANGMA, BORT, MOKSHA and WARCHETYPESergio Robles replaced Moral and the group released "Breed The Chosen One".

RHINO is currently in pre-production for its second album, tentatively due in the second half of 2008 through Arctic Music Group worldwide.

According to a press release, RHINO delivers "a mix of thrash, doom and rock influenced by bands like BOLT THROWER, MOHO, AUTOPSY, MOTÖRHEAD, DARK ANGEL, UNSANE, FLOODGATE, BLACK SABBATH, etc."
