RIVERRED Finish Tracking New Album

July 27, 2005

Pacific Northwest rock act RIVERRED, now featuring former GRUNTRUCK members Tim Paul (bass) and Norman Scott (drums),have completed tracking their new full-length CD, "Western Empire". The band are currently seeking a suitable person to mix the album. Due to scheduling conflicts, Seattle rock kingpin and frequent GRUNTRUCK producer Jack Endino (SOUNDGARDEN, NIRVANA) will not be able to mix the CD, as previously reported.

RIVERRED have uploaded a two-minute teaser clip featuring audio from the upcoming album. Check it out at this location. You can also download a new song, entitled "Situation", in MP3 format here.

"Western Empire" was recorded May-July, 2005 with producer Chris Hanson (VIO-LENCE, TECHNOCRACY). The band are currently unsigned and are believed to be talking with several interested labels.
