ROB ZOMBIE, JOHNNY RAMONE Hold California In-Store

February 13, 2003

Rob Zombie, Johnny Ramone and Pete Yorn conducted a signing session for the RAMONES tribute CD, "We're a Happy Family", at Tower Records on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, California on Tuesday (Feb. 11). According to Zombie's official web site, "It was a total success. The store was overflowing with people there to buy the album get a chance to meet them. They even braved the pouring rain and waited in line for the signing. As a bonus all of those who turned out got some free 'House of 1000 Corpses' promotional stuff, posters, stickers, postcards and even t-shirts. As if that weren't enough... there was a 10 foot tall creature known as 'FREAK' with a sandwich board poster of 'House of 1000 Corpses' running around spreading the word about the movie. The 'FREAK' was created by H1K special FX legend and horror guru, Wayne Toth, who was also on hand for the event. All in all it was a great event."
