ROKTOPUSS Featuring Ex-MEGADETH, VIXEN, FEMME FATALE Members: Video Available

December 8, 2006

A couple of low-quality video clips of ROKTOPUSS performing at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, CA this past Halloween have been posted online in the "Videos" section of the ROKTOPUSSMySpace page. "The first clip is a portion of our version of VIXEN's 'I Want You to Rock Me' and the second is the ROKTOPUSS barnburner 'Dog Bite'," says the group's guitarist Jeff Young (ex-MEGADETH). "The sound is just off a hand-held mic so it's way raw (translation: sound quality = SHIT) but there's a nice spontaneous energy and i just love it when [vocalist] Lorraine [Lewis; ex-FEMME FATALE] says, 'We're gonna bite your ass!' at the top of 'Dog Bite'."

ROKTOPUSS — which also features in its ranks Roxy Petrucci (ex-VIXEN, drums) and E.J. Curse (NO DUH, bass) — will shortly enter the studio to do some recording with renowned producer Michael Wagener (SKID ROW, HAMMERFALL, ACCEPT, KING'S X).

As previously reported, Jeff Young is now accepting a limited number of students for personalized instruction via:

* Weekly customized e-mail lessons program
* Live one-on-one lessons utilizing Apple iChat
* Private lessons in Sarasota and Miami, Florida

Jeff Young co-wrote two compositions on Badi Assad's 2005 Deutsche Grammophon release, "Verde" (or "Green" in English). The album was released in America on September 13, 2005, having already charted in the Top 15 on Europe's World Music Charts. The two songs co-written by Jeff and Badi are track #2 ("Nao Adianta") and track #12 ("The Being Between").
