ROTTING CORPSE And SOLITUDE AETURNUS To Guest On KNON 89.3 HARD TIME RADIO

January 19, 2006

Members of reunited ‘80s Texas-based thrash band ROTTING CORPSE (whose original lineup included SOLITUDE AETURNUS founder John Perez and former DEATH touring guitarist/roadie Walter Trachsler) and SOLITUDE AETURNUS will be on KNON 89.3 Hard Time Radio with Thrashin' Alan between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. CST tonight, Thursday, January 19. ROTTING CORPSE bassist Steve Murphy, guitarist Luke Brewer, original vocalist Jim Mulqueen and Perez will discuss each band’s appearance at the upcoming KNON 89.3 Tribute to Dimebag Darrell show Saturday, January 21 at the Granada Theater in Dallas. This show will mark the first time ROTTING CORPSE and SOLITUDE AETURNUS have shared the stage on the same night. ROTTING CORPSE will be main support for SOLITUDE AETURNUS, the headliners. Murphy said at one time the two were scheduled to play a show together in May 1990 at Joe’s Garage in Fort Worth but the show with the two bands never happened. The ROTTING CORPSE set will feature a 1985-era PANTERA cover of "Heavy Metal Rules" from the "Projects in the Jungle" release, which was PANTERA's second self-released effort on Metal Magic Records, the band's own label.

Hard Time Radio can be heard online at www.knon.org and listeners can call into the show at (972) 647-1893 to ask questions of members of both bands.
