RUNIC Sign With MASSACRE RECORDS

Spanish death/pagan/viking/flok metallers RUNIC have inked a deal with Massacre Records. The six-piece band, whose sound is said to be similar to that of "FINNTROLL, MOONSORROW, ENSIFERUM or AMON AMARTH," will release their full-length debut, entitled "Liar Flags" on March 24, 2006.

RUNIC's sole release thus far has been a six-song EP, entitled "Awaiting the Sound of the Unavoidable" (2001). That CD contained five original tracks plus a metal adaptation of the soundtrack movie "Conan the Barbarian", composed by the master Basil Poledouris.
