SALOME To Release Next Album Via PROFOUND LORE

August 21, 2009

Virginia-based down-tempo punishing doom metal act SALOME will release its sophomore full-length album via Profound Lore Records. The three-piece (namely vocalist Kat, who also sings for AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED; guitarist Rob Moore; and drummer Aaron Deal) is currently writing material for the LP and plans on entering the studio late this year to deliver its "most punishing" effort to date," according to a press release. Expect the next SALOME full-length to drop sometime in the first half of 2010.

In other news, SALOME will release a split LP with Louisiana sludge gods THOU. The band is also scheduled to hit the road this September with BATTILUS and HULL.
