SANCTUARY/NEVERMORE Singer To Perform At 'All Star Acoustic Night' In Seattle

SANCTUARY/NEVERMORE vocalist Warrel Dane will join forces with musician Jonny Smokes for a performance at "All Star Acoustic Night" this Saturday, October 20 at 7 Studio Seven in Seattle, Washington.

Commented Smokes: "Since this is a very special performance, I will be recording the set of myself withWarrel Dane and once it is mixed and mastered, I will give CDs to everyone who purchases a ticket from me personally. Only 50 will be made, all signed and numbered!"

SANCTUARY's "comeback" album — tentatively titled "The Year The Sun Died" — is due next year through Century Media Records. The CD will include the tracks "I Am Low" and "The World Is Wired", which were performed on the band's recent European tour.

Drummer Van Williams and guitarist Jeff Loomis announced their departure from NEVERMORE in April 2011 due to personal differences with Dane and the band's bassist, Jim Sheppard. Their replacements have not yet been announced.
