SAVATAGE: 2002 Festival Clip Featuring ANNIHILATOR Guitarist Available

October 5, 2006

A rare live video clip of SAVATAGE performing at a 2002 festival with a lineup that included ANNIHILATOR guitarist Jeff Waters and vocalist Damond Jiniya has been posted online at YouTube.com. Waters was filling in for guitarist Al Pitrelli (ex-MEGADETH),who was unable to make the dates due to commitments scheduled prior to his rejoining the group.

As previously reported, a "super-rare" video of SAVATAGE performing the song "Tonight He Grins Again" on the Tampa Music Awards in 1992 has been posted online at YouTube.com. The clip, which is believed to be some of the best existing live footage of the band's "Streets" lineup (Jon Oliva, Criss Oliva, Steve "Dr. Killdrums" Wacholz, Johnny Lee Middleton, and touring member John Zahner),was provided by John Zahner (ex-SAVATAGE touring keyboard player and current member of JON OLIVA'S PAIN).
