SCOTT WEILAND Live In San Francisco (Video)

July 22, 2012

Fan-filmed video footage of STONE TEMPLE PILOTS/ex-VELVET REVOLVER singer Scott Weiland's July 18 performance at The Independent in San Francisco, California can be seen below.

STONE TEMPLE PILOTS last month released the concert Blu-ray and DVD "Alive In The Windy City", which documents a March 2010 performance at Chicago's Riviera Theatre. The 18-song set includes STP staples like "Vasoline", "Interstate Love Song" and "Sex Type Thing", all filmed in high-definition video, while the bonus features include exclusive interviews with each band member that bring the disc's total running time to 92 minutes.

The release of "Alive In The Windy City" coincides with the band's late summer tour, which now begins on August 18 in Pontiac, Michigan and extends into late September. A number of shows on the tour will find the band playing its 1992 debut album, "Core", from start to finish in celebration of the record's 20th anniversary.
