SEPULTURA Drummer's INDIRETO Project Releases First EP; Free Download Available

October 16, 2008

INDIRETO, the Brazilian project featuring drummer Jean Dolabella (SEPULTURA) and guitarist Augusto Nogueira (SCARCEUS),has made its first five-song EP available for free download at this location (ZIP file).

Dolabella and Nogueira met for the first time in 1995 and have since collaborated on SCARCEUS' two album recordings and several Brazilian workshops.

In order to avoid the traditional "instrumental" sound, Jean and Augusto "intend to set free from musical style rules and make a sound which mixture both their own different influences and the technique they acquired in their rich professional journeys," according to a press release.

Although Nogueira and Dolabella are the only members of INDIRETO, the EP features contributions from bassists Leonardo Quintão and Renato Tomasso. All other instruments were performed by Nogueira and Dolabella, who are also responsible for the EP's production.

INDIRETO EP track listing:

01. Bob Dominó
02. Samba do Kriolo Doido
03. Iscô
04. Surf
05. Primeira
