SEPULTURA Guitarist Says His New Riffs Are 'F*cking Heavy'
May 22, 2007SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser has issued the following update:
"We are jamming in Brazil and feeling stronger after every show. We are preparing a great show for the next European leg wich we start at the end of June. Some new riffs are starting to happen on the soundchecks and is fucking heavy! Jean [Dolabella; ex-UDORA] is a great drummer and he is bringing a lot of new ground to write."
SEPULTURA recently posted two new video clips on its YouTube page. Check out soundcheck footage, shot at the Abril Pro Rock festival in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil on April 14, 2007, and a performance clip of "Ostia", filmed in Buenos Aires on January 13, 2007.
As previously reported, a rare video clip of SEPULTURA and the Brazilian kings of hardcore RATOS DE PORÃO performing a cover of RAMONES' "I'm Not Jesus" on the Brazilian TV show "TVMix" in 1990 has been posted online at this location.
SEPULTURA in March finished filming the second video from their "Dante XXI" album, for the song "Ostia". The clip was shot on March 3 at a studio in São Paulo prior to the band's departure for their European tour. During the following week, the video crew and the main actor shot the outdoor scenes in downtown São Paulo. The script, which adapts the story from the book "The Divine Comedy" to the modern days, was directed by Geraldo Moraes.
