SEPULTURA's KISSER Holds Guitar Clinic In Hollywood: Photos Available

January 26, 2006

SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser took part in a special guitar clinic at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California on Wednesday, January 25. More than one hundred students were in attendance for the session, which featured Andreas playing songs from SEPULTURA ("Refuse/Resist", "Roots Bloody Roots", "Territory" and "Slave New World", among others),four classical pieces, a blues jam and one song ("Lava Sky") from his upcoming solo album, tentatively titled "Hubris 1 & 2" (due later in the year via Holland's Mascot Records). MOTÖRHEAD's Lemmy and former FEAR FACTORY/current ASESINO guitarist Dino Cazares also attended the clinic, which was timed to coincide with Kisser's recording sessions for the upcoming album from ASESINO (the death metal/grindcore project featuring Cazares and STATIC-X bassist Tony Campos on bass/vocals). Check out photos from the clinic at this location.

In other news, Kisser and Cazares have completed all the guitar tracks for ASESINO's as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2002's "Coridos De Muerte" (the previously announced title "Solo Putos Muertos Quedan" has been scrapped),which is being produced by Cazares, with Logan Mader (ex-MACHINE HEAD, SOULFLY) engineering. A May release via Hawino Records is expected.
