SEPULTURA Start Pre-Production For New CD

December 13, 2002

SEPULTURA have begun pre-production for their next studio CD with producer Steve Evetts (EARTH CRISIS, SNAPCASE).

The band, who have just issued a brand new EP, "Revolusongs", in Brazil, are said to be in the process of demoing 12 new songs for the as-yet-untitled effort, tentatively due in late spring.

The follow-up to last year's "Nation" will be recorded at a Brazilian studio in January, and will contain "heavy stuff, HEAVY!," according to the band's official web site. "Some fast, some slow but always aggressive. SEPULTURA will definitely surprise you in 2003!"

At the moment, there is no official release date for "Revolusongs" outside Brazil, but it is expected that the CD will surface through SPV/Steamhammer Records in Europe and JVC Records in Japan in early 2003. The group are still negotiating a North American deal following their split with Roadrunner Records earlier in the year.
