SEVEN WITCHES Guitarist: New Record Is 'Sounding Amazing'

May 10, 2007

SEVEN WITCHES guitarist Jack Frost has issued the following update:

"I've been back from the first round of mixing on the new WITCHES album for about two weeks now. Things are going great, and the record is sounding amazing! Remember, Joey Vera is mixing this record, so you know it's going to be incredible. I'm leaving in another couple of weeks for Round 2 and won't be back until sometime in June. I'm really looking forward to giving you guys a sample or two. It's sick!

"The last weekend in April was incredible! I played the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival in Worcester, MA, with LIZZY BORDEN. And for those who couldn't attend, MTV2's 'Headbanger's Ball' is airing clips and interviews this Saturday, May 12th! The two-day festival featured so many bands I can't name them all here. Saturday was the Metal Blade Records 25th anniversary celebration, and I was honored to be asked to take part and play with LIZZY. I'm also in the midst of finishing up guitar tracks for the new LIZZY BORDEN album. NO, I'm not a member of the band, and YES, Ira [Black] is still there. But they wanted to go for a more traditional LIZZY BORDEN two-guitar sound. I'm told they're also including guest solos from many big names in addition to Ira's and my work throughout.

"Let's see. What else? I just finished up some guitar work on John Macaluso's new project, JOHN MACALUSO & UNION RADIO 'The Radio Waves Goodbye' and also on LIBERTY & JUSTICE's new acoustic album, 'Independence Day'. And I'll be producing the debut recording for New Jersey's BLAKJAK at Aarius Studios in Sayreville in the middle of June.

"And speaking of Jersey in the summertime...

"SMELL THE GLOVE [Jack's '80s metal tribute band]! Making our club debut this weekend at Centro (South Amboy) and The Cup (Linden),we're all the reason you'll ever need to inspire a vacation on the Jersey shore! Come out and rock with us! Also, take a second to check out our MySpace page. Don't forget to check out the dates and photos. And add us as your friend if you're a member!"
