SEVEN WITCHES In The Studio: Video Footage Available

May 29, 2004

ThatsSoMetal.com has uploaded video footage of guitarist Jack Frost (ex-SAVATAGE) and his band SEVEN WITCHES recording their new CD, entitled "Year of the Witch". You will get to hear them recording a couple tracks from the record along with some in studio antics and a report on what the near future holds for the WITCHES. Check it out here.

According to a posting on the site, the music on the new album "can be described as being the next step from 'Passage to the Other Side'. It contains the very recognizable guitar work Jack has made himself known for, but this time around the compositions and arrangements are more, lets say, complex. The album will be half concept, which is part of the reason why the song structures are not as straight ahead as before. The fire and edge are still present, but many more guitar harmonies and various other elements are incorporated tying in the story line. Jack also mentioned that Joey Vera, now playing bass for ANTHRAX, was still very much involved with the writing and pre production for the new record, though does not play on it. Jack assures that Joey is still part of the WITCHES family and still a contributor."
