September 4, 2012

Brazilian metallers SHAMAN recently spent 10 days in New York City filming a video for the song "Nocturnal Human Side". The clip, which is scheduled for release in mid-September, will feature images of the musicians in the streets of the city, accompanied by renowned vocalist Russell Allen, the voice of SYMPHONY X and ADRENALINE MOB, and the international model and actress Renata Diffley.

The "Nocturnal Human Side" video is being directed by Alex Batistawill, who has previously worked with SHAMAN on the "Ego" and "Finally Home" clips.

A Brazilian living in New York, Renata is one of the most successful models abroad. She has modeled on the catwalks of Milan, New York and London for brands and respected designers like Armani, Patrizia Pepe, Miu Miu, Zoomp, Colcci and Levis. Renata also studied dramatics at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York and film at The New York Film Academy.

In the "Nocturnal Human Side" video, Diffley can be seen with another celebrity of the fashion world, the photographer Antoine Verglas, famous for working with stars like Angelina Jolie, Penélope Cruz and Gisele Bündchen.

"I love SHAMAN!" commented Renata. "We had worked together before and I could not refuse the invitation. It was an amazing experience to act on the clip. They are positive people and its such a pleasure to work like that."

SHAMAN is:

Leo Mancini - Guitar
Fernando Quesada - Bass

SHAMAN's fourth album, "Origins", was released in 2010.
