SINGLE BULLET THEORY Pulls Out Of 'Metal Crusade' Tour

Philadelphia-based metallers SINGLE BULLET THEORY have pulled out of their previously announced "Metal Crusade" tour with PRIMER 55, LOVE SAID NO and MARC RIZZO due to "egos getting in the way of things," according to a statement released by vocalist/guitarist Matt Difabio. "It seems that egos are running rampant and it would be impossible for us to get on board with this tour as originally planned," he continued.

"SINGLE BULLET THEORY has always been a band that is gracious to be opening for any larger artists. We have done several high-profile tours as support and have always been nothing but humbled and respectful.

"We were honestly looking forward to getting out on the road with Eric and Bud from LOVE SAID NO as well as Marc Rizzo as we are huge fans of their past and present bands. Unfortunately a certain person who runs the show made that impossible.

"We in no way feel that we are a band that has any real 'clout' in the world. We are simply trying to get out there and have some fun. However, as people we deserve a certain level of respect that is EXPECTED from everyone in the world. When people breach that level of respect, we can no longer be involved. It's a shame, as the guys at Crash Music, Afm Entertainment and The Mustang Agency worked their asses off to make this all happen."

SINGLE BULLET THEORY released its new album, "On Broken Wings", on October 9 via Crash Music Inc. The CD was recorded at SINGLE BULLET THEORY's own studio with help from Carlos Alverez (SHADOWDANCE) and was mixed by Eddy Garcia (PISSING RAZORS) at Krank Studios in El Paso, Texas. Mastering duties were handled by James Murphy (TESTAMENT, DEATH, OBITUARY) at SafeHouse Productions in Tampa, Florida. The record features 11 brand new studio tracks as well as five live tracks recorded in August 2006 in New London, Connecticut.
