SINGLE BULLET THEORY Recruits VOUGAN Drummer

October 5, 2009

Philadelphia-based metal band SINGLE BULLET THEORY has announced the addition of Brazilian drummer Acacio Carvalho (VOUGAN) to the group's ranks. The band is scheduled to enter the studio in November to begin recording new material for a 2010 release.

SINGLE BULLET THEORY earlier in the year uploaded its cover version of the METAL CHURCH classic "Badlands" to its MySpace page. The recording was originally featured on the SINGLE BULLET THEORY's 2004 record "Behind Eyes Of Hatred" (Crash Music Inc.) and features guest appearances by Matt Thompson (KING DIAMOND) and James Murphy (TESTAMENT, DEATH, OBITUARY).

With regards to the musical direction of the forthcoming SINGLE BULLET THEORY album, vocalist/guitarist Matt DiFabio (ex-PISSING RAZORS) previously said, "I have written over 167 songs in the last four years and have assembled what, in my humble opinion, are the very best of what I consider the best. Some of them were written to be part of the next PISSING RAZORS CD, some were written for SBT and some were just written to bang your head to a little."
