SINGLE BULLET THEORY To Record NON-FICTION Cover For Upcoming EP

August 23, 2004

Philadelphia-based SINGLE BULLET THEORY have announced plans to record a cover of NON-FICTION's "Into the Ground" for an upcoming EP, tentatively due in early 2005.

"As some of you may know, I had the great pleasure of performing on the new Dan Lorenzo [ex-HADES/NON-FICTION guitarist] CD 'Nice Being Alone'," SINGLE BULLET THEORY vocalist/guitarist Matt Difabio said in a statement. "I sang on the song 'Naked'. It was an honor to be asked to participate on a person's CD who has inspired me so much as a musician. I have been watching HADES and NON-FICTION perform for years and have always been a huge fan of Dan's writing and his general attitude of this lovely music business. This in part being why we (SINGLE BULLET THEORY) have decided to record the song 'Into the Ground' from NON-FICTION on an E.P. that we are planning for early 2005. To me, NON-FICTION's 'In the Know' was one of the most unique and fresh sounding albums to emerge during the early-mid 90's and I am thrilled to have been part of the making of the new Dan Lorenzo CD."

SINGLE BULLET THEORY's second album, "Behind Eyes of Hatred", is scheduled for release on August 24 through Crash Music Inc. The CD was recorded at Angry Chair Recordings in Glenside, PA with producer James Murphy (TESTAMENT, DEATH, OBITUARY) and was mixed at Safe House studios just outside Tampa, Florida. This release is "a marked progression for the SINGLE BULLET THEORY sound, ranging in from brutal death metal to acoustic passages and power metal undertones," according to an official press release.
