SIRENIA Confirmed For Norway's FANTASIFESTIVALEN

Norwegian/Danish gothic metal band SIRENIA has been confirmed for the Fantasifestivalen, set to take place July 13 in Forsand, Norway. "The show will be in a reconstructed viking farmhouse," the group writes on its web site. "The festival will house storytellers, there will be art expositions, a fantasymarket, demonstrations of ancient craftmanship, viking age food, a witch tent, and more music inspired by the world of fantasy!"

SIRENIA's new album, "Nine Destinies and a Downfall", entered the German Media Control chart in March at position No. 54. The album was recorded at Jailhouse studios in Norway with engineer Hans Eidsgard and Soundsuite studios in France with Terje Refsnes and was mixed and mastered at Antfarm studios in Aarhus, Denmark with Tue Madsen.

SIRENIA's video for the song "The Other Side" has been posted online at YouTube.com. The clip was helmed by the renowed Serbian production company I-Code (DEATHSTARS, HAMMERFALL, BLIND GUARDIAN, SCAR SYMMETRY),which previously worked with the group on the "My Mind's Eye"video.
